In short
We collect what you give us so a measure can be booked and a quote prepared. We pass it to the licensed builder who would carry out the work. We do not sell it to anybody.
What we collect
When you call, use the enquiry form or message us, we collect what you choose to share. Usually that is:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Which town you are in, and whether the property is a house, townhouse or unit
- Details about the room, and any photos you send
- For strata properties, strata manager contact details if you provide them
- For rentals and holiday lets, lease end dates or booking dates if you provide them
Calls may be logged or recorded so enquiries are routed and followed up properly. At a measure, photographs and written notes of the room may be taken.
Please do not send bank details, card numbers, identity documents or passwords through this website. We will never ask for any of them here.
What it is used for
To respond to you, book a measure, prepare a quote, and follow up about the renovation. Nothing else.
Who it is shared with
This is a referral website. Your enquiry is passed to the licensed builder we work in partnership with, so they can contact you, measure the room and quote it. Once you are dealing with them directly, they handle your information under their own privacy practices.
Where it is necessary, relevant details may also be provided to:
- A licensed asbestos assessor or removalist, where testing or removal is required
- Your strata manager or owners corporation, if you ask for help with consent
- A government body, where the law requires it
We use third-party services to run the website, manage enquiries and handle calls. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to do that.
How long it is kept
For as long as it is needed for your enquiry, and for any period record-keeping law requires. After that it is deleted or de-identified.

Your rights
To find out what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, ring 02 4214 4021. If you are unhappy with how a privacy concern has been handled, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
